Legacy Events for Education

In 2017, the Wolverine Legacy Fund was founded to award monetary grants to support and enhance Windermere High School’s (WHS) Academics, Arts, and Athletics. After bringing over $60,000 in donations to WHS, our organization is expanding with the launch of Legacy Events for Education! Our mission is to organize large scale events in western Orange County, Florida to raise funds for scholarships and grants to students and teachers at Windermere, West Orange and Horizon high schools. With the increasing costs of both college tuition and school expenses not covered by the district, community support is needed more than ever!

Pet Friendly!

Did you know, we are a pet friendly event?  🐕 🐈‍⬛ 🦜 🦕 

Some of the merchants will have water bowls out for your pet.  (We encourage you to bring water and treats for your pet, it’s suppose to be a hot day!) 

🐶 Dog behavior etiquette tips 🐶 

*Try not to allow your dog to jump up on people; even if your dog is friendly, it’s not polite behavior.

*Be especially careful not to let your pooch jump up on small children or the elderly, since he can potentially scare or injury them.

*Don’t let your dog approach someone unless that person solicits attention from your dog.

*Bring training treats with you and use the opportunity of being out in public to teach your dog polite greetings.

*Get down low so that you can effectively manage an interaction your dog has with a child.

*Be sure to clean up after your pet and make sure your pet uses the “bathroom” away from the vendors!
